Double Dyad
Overview
Double Dyad is basically Triple Triad, but for the Gameboy. The deep lore has something to do with ghosts turning into robots or something. I dunno. You'll have to piece it together on your own--like Dark Souls. It's the Dark Souls of Triple Triad demakes on the Gameboy.

How to Play
Make your way through the map one card game round at a time, and power up your deck by taking your opponents' cards. It's a simple game. You'll figure it out.
Basics
Double Dyad is played on a three-by-three grid, totaling nine spaces, with each player utilizing a deck of 5 cards. Every card has a number on each side to represent the strength of that side. Starting with you, the player, each player uses their turn to place a card on an empty space on the board.
If you place a card next to an opponent's card, and if the number facing the opponent's card is higher than their number, you take over the opponent's card. After all nine spaces on the board have been filled, the game ends. The scores are calculated by adding up the individual point values of every card that each player controls.
Extra info
- A card's point value is displayed by the dots in the top right corner of each card.
- In the top left corner, a card might have a sword or a shield icon. Cards with a sword icon will have 1 added to their strength values when attacking. And cards with a shield icon will have 1 added to their strength values when defending.
- The icon in the bottom left corner of each card indicates which player currently controls that card. 〇 represents you, the player, and ✖ represents your opponent.
- (By the way, if you're struggling too much at the game, there's a baby mode cheat that you can use. Press B on the world map to have a rematch with your latest opponent.)

I was literally thinking YESTERDAY, "When is somebody gonna do a homebrew of Triple Triad for Game Boy?"
