A downloadable game

This is the end result of the Gameboy Microgames Jam held in November of 2022. (https://itch.io/jam/gb-microgames-jam) The goal of the jam was to have everyone work on WarioWare-style microgames that would then be combined together into a single game.

Microgames Jam Pak is that game.

And you can view the source code here.

Really cool! Let's hope that this jam would become a recurring event. BTW, have you seen this "GBC-style" collection of microgames? -- https://pep.itch.io/bimsy-dreams

I haven't seen it. Looks cool. But yeah, I am thinking about hosting a sequel jam maybe sometime later this year. The game was a lot more work than I expected, so I'm not champing at the bits to host another jam too soon.

Love It! A physical release would be nice!

Thanks! I'd love to have a physical release as well, but I don't think there's an easy way to handle production outside of people having to burn their own repro carts. There are just too many individuals and licenses involved in the game to sell it. I mean, I'm sure it's possible, but that level of monetary/legal logistics is way above my pay grade.

This is great fun, really captures the spirit and style of Wario Ware.

Thanks!
